The location of Generator Madrid is fantastic, with easy access to popular attractions and public transportation. The hostel is clean and comfortable, with separate shower and toilet facilities in the room. The air conditioner works well to keep the room cool. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax in the evening. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel for its budget-friendly prices and convenient location. I had a pleasant stay at Generator Madrid.

Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the bathrooms. the staff were friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. the hostel had great facilities, including lockers and padlocks for security. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. Plus, the beds were super comfortable!
There was no kitchen available, so I couldn't cook my own meals. They also didn't allow outside food, and the restaurant on-site was a bit expensive.

The location of this hostel was perfect for my Christmas stay. It was conveniently located near a subway station and a supermarket, making it easy for me to explore the city and stock up on supplies. The staff were also very helpful and ready to assist with any questions or concerns I had. Another great aspect was the cleanliness of the hostel, which made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.
One aspect that disappointed me was the lack of a kitchen for guests and the strict policy against bringing outside food. This made it difficult for me to prepare my own meals and forced me to rely on the hostel's food options, which I found to be quite expensive.

The en suite rooms had a luxurious hotel feel and the rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi and bar was a great place to unwind. The location, near Gran Via and the vibrant Malasana neighborhood, made it easy to explore the city. Plus, they offer bike rentals for a convenient way to get around. The staff was friendly and the WiFi was fast. I highly recommend this hostel for a fun and comfortable stay.

generator madrid exceeded my expectations during my stay. the central location, safe atmosphere, and hotel-like amenities made it feel more like a budget hotel than a hostel.
Shower room had a bad smell.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the amazing location just off Grand Via with ample restaurants and shopping nearby. the dorm rooms were one of the best we've stayed in, with comfortable beds and a nice terrace. the cleanliness throughout the hostel was excellent. the breakfast, which included coffee, was reasonably priced.
Felt cozy, no reason to complain.

The location of this hotel was amazing, with most attractions within walking distance. The check-in and check-out process was also quick and hassle-free. I also appreciated the fact that they had a PS or Xbox available for guests to use, even though I didn't get a chance to try it myself. there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it convenient to find meals and supplies.
One of the things I didn't like about this hotel was that it had more of a hostel vibe, with everyone doing their own thing. It would have been nice if there were more organized events or activities for solo travelers to meet and socialize with each other.

The hostel is conveniently located close to the city center, making it easy to explore. One can enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar and take in the views. the hostel's restaurant provides a place to relax and grab a meal. the rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.
The lack of kitchen facilities can make the stay more expensive as guests are limited to either eating at the hostel's restaurant or dining outside.
